Drawing and Painting Course
The course of drawing and painting is intended for both beginners and advanced painters. We will begin with the basics of drawing with pencil and charcoal, we will try linear drawing, shading of simple and more complicated still life, we will learn how to draw various materials and explain the basics of perspective. In the first half of the course, the course focuses mainly on drawing, in the second half we will learn about acrylic paints. With advanced students, we will draw a portrait and figure according to a life model, and we will focus primarily on acrylic and oil paints.
We adapt the content of the course to the wishes and goals of individual students, our motto is an individual approach to each of our students.

What do we learn in the course?
Recommended Art Supplies
Art supplies are not included in the price.
For the first lesson you will need just a pencil or charcoal and rubber. Other supplies can be purchased continuously after the consultation with the teacher.
We will be happy to buy the supplies and deliver them directly to the lesson.

- yellow adhesive tape
- acrylic or oil paints
- palette, fabric for wiping brushes, water container
Private, small and cozy studio is located in Baranova street on the border of Vinohrady and Žižkov. The best way to get here is from the Radhošťská tram stop or from the A metro station - Flora. Drawing and painting lessons take place in a small individual group of up to 4 participants.
Atelier of Filip Švehla is located in K Žižkovu 9, a short walk from Prague-Liben Train Station. You can get here comfortably by train from Hlavní or Masarykovo nádraží, or by tram or bus to K Žižkovu stop. The studio is suitable for 6 participants.

Would you like to attend a course, but don’t have a babysitter? Or do you want not to just wait for your child somewhere at the cafe? Take the advantage of our courses that take place at the same time. Children and you will paint, rest and recharge your energy at the same time.
